Surah Isra ayah 9 and 10

It is a great reminder about the blessing we have in our hands that can make things right for us if we only open it up and read its wisdom—the contrast between the righteous who believe in the hereafter and accountability and those who do not. We see the opposite consequence for each. It is important to understand that those in Ayah 10 are the ones who live for today, do evil to fellow man, and refuse to believe they will be held accountable in the "hereafter" or judgment day. These in my opinion are without a doubt the first in line for a painful punishment.
